Availability: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Spring 2026 session: Beginner and intermediate levels

Class 1
21 avril: Cherry Blossom branch - With careful brush strokes we will learn how to manipulate different colors into delicate and textured flowers.
Class 2
28 avril: The Great wave off Kanagawa - This class will challenge calculated, precision painting with an organic subject by studying the masterful painting of Japanese artist, Katsushika Hokusai.
Class 3
5 mai: Tuscan landscape - With a warm sun stretching over the hills and valleys, Tuscany feels heavenly. In this class we will learn about the art of landscape painting with color, different values and texture.
Class 4
12 mai: Crystal Vase - A crystal vase is a wonderful addition to enhance the beauty of a fresh bouquet. In this class we will learn and understand how light reacts with a transparent object by manipulating shape, light, and color.
Class 5
19 mai : Claude Monet inspired painting - The impressionist movement has captivated the world across generations. In this class we will learn how the father of impressionism used color and texturing so we may bring our very own Woman with Parasol painting to life.









Materials included: brushes, paint, canvas
You will learn techniques to work on your own shapes and colors!
We encourage students to let go of perfection, use their imagination, and try new things without fear!
Here's what you'll learn:
- Making observations.
- Mixed media techniques (paint, markers, Sharpie, colored pencils, and/or oil pastels).
- Salt resist technique.
- Creating templates.
-Drawing and painting silhouettes.
-Drawing and painting nature, people, faces, and animals.
-Using simple shapes to start a more complicated drawing.
-Drawing step by step.
-Wet-on-wet painting, as opposed to wet-on-dry.
-Drawing and/or painting shadows.
-Paint reflections.
